We will be conducting the English Language Interim Comprehensive Assessment on October 24 and 26. This is a districtwide online assessment that will assess 11th graders on reading, writing, listening, and research/inquiry skills. The results of this test will help us to evaluate how students are currently doing, so that teachers can modify instruction to meet students needs and to better prepare them for the statewide tests in the spring. These tests will be graded by English teachers and will count towards a student’s English grade.
In order to accommodate the two-hour tests, Grossmont will be following a modified testing schedule on two days. Please see attached schedule. All juniors will be testing in the morning from 7:15 - 9:15 on those dates and then all students will have a modified day schedule for the rest of the day.
