New News:

Students and Staff:  TOMORROW, September 14th, is the last chance to have your picture taken for the yearbook.  Please stop by the Old Gym from 6:45am - 1:00pm to have your picture taken and get your ID card for this school year.

 

Museum Moment:  Homecoming Queen and King -This week marks the 70th Anniversary of Homecoming at Grossmont.  Grossmont's first Homecoming Queen was chosen in 1947.  The first Homecoming King was chosen in 1974. All of their names are engraved on the Homecoming King and Queen trophies in the Museum.  Stop by the Museum at lunch today to see the two trophies!

 

Hey Hillers! Homecoming is almost here! The Carnival and Dance are on Saturday, September 16th. The Carnival is from 4 pm-7pm, and admission is free. The Homecoming Dance will be held from 7pm-10pm in the Old Gym. Tickets can be purchased at the Finance Office. $10 with an ASB card and $12 without. The theme is Glow in the Dark, so be sure to show up in white! Can't wait to see you all there!

 

Hillers!  Don't forget to come cheer on the football team in the spirit section this Friday. Rally towels will be handed out through out the game. Don't miss out!

 

CSF:  The California Scholarship Federation is the oldest scholastic scholarship institution in the state of California. It is well recognized by most universities and colleges. If you are interested in applying, applications are now available in Mr. Lee’s classroom, #1130, located in the Science building. Deadline to apply is October 3rd.

Comic Book Club:  Like reading books, but wish there were more pictures?  Join the Comic Book Club in room 845 during lunch on Thursdays to discuss and create your own comic books!
