New News:

Hey Hillers!  Make sure to check out Tally Space in the ghsasb Instagram bio and vote for who you want to be on Homecoming Court!  Voting ends Friday, September 8. Court will be announced Friday at lunch by the Blue Stage so come check it out!

 

Hey Foothillers:  Dodgeball is coming up on Wednesday September 27th. Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive, and Dodge your way to the ASB room to get a packet.  Packets and $30 entry fee for each team is due on Friday, September 22nd.

 

Hey Foothillers!  TOMORROW is our very first dress up day - its ER day!  Come dressed up as a skatER, a dancER, a cheerleadER, or anything ending in -ER!  Get creative!  Just remember that everything must be school appropriate.

 

Students and Staff:  Thursday, September 14th, is the last chance to have your picture taken for the yearbook.  Please stop by the Old Gym from 6:45am - 1:00pm to have your picture taken and get your ID card for this school year.

 

Foothillers!  Mark your calendars. GOT PLANS College and Career Fair is on Saturday, September 30th, from 9:00 a.m. to noon, at Grossmont College.  This event is for ALL students - those preparing to go directly into the work force, military, career and technical school, 2 year college or 4 year college/university.  This is the largest career/college fair in East San Diego County!  

 

Grand Canyon University:  If you would like to attend the Grand Canyon University college presentation on September 12, at 8:15, please come sign up in the College and Career center.

 

Future College Presentations:  The following colleges and universities will be presenting at Grossmont next month:  Northern Arizona University on October 2nd at 8:15, Soka University on October 3rd at 9:30, University of Southern California on October 4th at 8:30,  University of San Diego on Friday, October 6, at 9 am, and UC Santa Barbara on October 9th at 8:15.  If you are interested in attending any of these presentations, please come sign up in the Career Center.  

 

Club Meetings:

 

Hey Fellow Foothillers!  Are you interested in fashion or hand on activities?  Then join Fashion Club!  We are meeting TODAY in room 1120, and we meet every Thursday during lunch.

Educator's Rising Club:  We aremeeting TODAY at lunch in Ms. Thren's room, 565.  If you signed up during Club Expo, we would like you to join us!  We will be discussing this year's events.

Grossmont Inclusion Club:  GIC meets TODAY at lunch in room 1417.  See you there!

Hey Hillers!  Have you ever wanted to showcase your talent? Do you like playing games with your friends? Drama Club is a safe place to express yourself, play fun improv games, and have a good time! Drama Club meets Thursdays at lunch in the Little Theatre (room 615). Join us TODAY to be entered in a raffle for a chance to win a ticket to our fall production of "Xanadu."  See you there!
