9th Grade Course Selection Information
COURSE SELECTION INFORMATION:
- Students will not be placed in courses until Online Registration has been completed.

New Student ​Registration
Hello Future Foothillers! Please see the information below on "How to become a Foothiller":
- See the district website below to complete online registration.
- If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Danielle Cook (dcook@guhsd.net), in our Counseling office.
- Please be prepared to submit the student's birth certificate, immunization records, and 2 family proofs of residency.
- 10th-12th Grade students need an unofficial copy of their transcript for scheduling courses.
- Please submit copies of IEPs and 504s to our counseling & SPED office at our school site.
- Online Registration must be completed and approved prior to submitting a school choice application. Please allow 3-5 business days for your application to be processed.
Parent Choice School Transfer Request Process- District Information
- If, after completing online registration (see Student Registration tab) for the 2025-2026 school year, you are interested in your child being considered for placement at a school other than the school of residence, please click below to access the request link.
Our goal is to approve as many requests as possible, but please note:

- The deadline to submit a transfer request is June 30, 2025.
- Schools have a capacity for enrollment. If the requested school is at capacity, you will be placed on a waitlist.
- If you are submitting a request for more than one child, please submit a separate request for each child.
- Students on an approved transfer must maintain passing grades, positive attendance, and behavior, or the transfer may be revoked.
- The district is unable to provide transportation for approved school transfers. Transportation is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
